First Lady Rochelle D. Windley

Dr. Rochelle D. Windley, First Lady

The “First Church” is blessed to have a unique first lady; FIRST LADY ROCHELLE D. WINDLEY is committed in her mandate to stand beside her husband as a helpmate in all that God has planned for him in his ministerial journey. First Lady Rochelle’s gifts and talents are an asset to the church and body of Christ.  She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing from the University of South Carolina; and a Masters Degree of Nursing in Informatics from American Sentinel University in Colorado. She is a dedicated Registered Nurse who likes to make a difference in people's lives. She loves to care and share the importance of life with those she comes in contact with. By further advancing her career in Nurse Informatics, her desire is to find a way to improve the productivity of nursing care. She will be responsible for translating medical knowledge into computer programs to secure and integrate health-related data so that nurses can deliver effective care to patients. Rochelle will find a way to improve information management and communications in nursing to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and enhance the quality of patient care.

The First Lady also has a passion for physical fitness. She correlates this with her nursing career because she believes that God wants us to take care of ourselves because our bodies are His temple. Exercise is not just important for our physical appearance, but for our complete health, both physically and mentally. In the near future her plan is to become a Health Coach where she can offer guidance and inspiration to help patients understand the importance to shift their behavior to healthier health habits. Rochelle motto is to "glorify God" and to be better equipped for what He has planned.  We are grateful and blessed to have her as our First Lady.
